How do you see inside a weld without cutting it open?
Radiographic Testing (RT) makes internal defects visible but interpreting those images accurately is where the real challenge begins.
What is Radiographic Testing?
Radiographic Testing (RT) is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method that uses X-rays or gamma rays to examine the internal structure of a material. It produces an image (radiograph), similar to a medical X-ray, allowing defects to be detected without cutting or damaging the component.
RT is widely used for inspecting welds, castings, and critical components where internal visibility is required.
