LONG RANGE ULTRASONIC TESTING (LRUT)

Long Range UT or Guided wave UT is an advanced UT technique which uses low frequency ultrasonic surface waves to detect corrosion and metal loss from a single point location.

Unlike conventional UT, which inspects a very small area at a time, LRUT allows inspectors to assess tens of meters of pipeline rapidly, making it ideal for large-scale corrosion detection and asset screening.
